Fear Plagues the City
Fear Plagues the City represents Dowdeswell's epic reaction to the recent terrorist attacks on Paris and Brussels and opens debate about the prevading threat of violence and how we have responded as a culture.
It is a tale of ghouls and ghosts, flashing bolts of lightening, serpents, stocks and shares and is a powerful blend of influences from Bruehel, Bosch, Bacon and Cralli.
